Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to fix my computer?

If in shop service is required, what should I bring?

What are your hours?

It depends on the type of service you need. Some shops advertise " 2 hour service ". In reality, to do a "proper, thorough" job, it takes a little time. We do not shortcut your service. We always do a complete and thorough job. We make sure we address all your issues, the ones that you knew about and the ones that you didn't. Some repairs may take 5 minutes while others may take a few days. With our flat rate pricing plans you never have to watch the clock or worry about the price going up because it’s taking longer. Can't be without your computer? We also have a loaner program allowing you to remain up and running while your system is being repaired.
If you’re bringing a desktop, we just need the main "box" itself. No keyboard, no mouse, no cables and no monitor. If you're bringing a laptop, we would need the laptop itself and the power cord.

How does 'Remote Service' work?

Remote Service is a great option for quick fixes or minor repairs. High-Speed Internet connectivity is required. The benefits are fast, immediate service at rates that are less than an On-Site visit and more convenient than disconnecting and bringing your system to a shop.
On-site support for our service area is by appointment only Monday - Friday 5pm -8pm. Remote support is 7 days a week 24 hours a day.  If all agents are occupied we will contact you as soon as possible.  Emergency and after hours services are avaiable by appointment only.

IS on-site service better than a in shop or remote service?

Some service calls cant be supported remotely while others can. We recommend that you contact us first to discuss your issue. After a few questions, we can tell you if your service call is a good candidate for an On-Site, Remote or In-Shop service. Keep in mind that In-Shop or Remote service is usually the most economical option.
